Apply as an international student

As an international student, please apply until October 12th for the winter semester using this application form (pdf). The prerequisite for participation is that you are enrolled in the 1st or 2nd semester in one of the above-mentioned degree programmes at the time the Buddy-Programme starts.
Students in the 1st semester will be considered with priority.

Apply as a local student (peer-tutor)

As a local student, please apply until October 12th for the winter semester using this application form (pdf). The prerequisite for participation is that you are studying in the 3rd semester or higher of a bachelor’s programme or in a master’s programme (1st semester or higher) at the time the buddy-programme starts.

Recognition

Students of the BSc and MSc programme Biology can have their participation recognised for elective modules (BioPlus/Optionalbereich/Internationalisierungsbereich) by 4 Credit Points (CP).
For requirements and tasks to be completed in each case, please refer to the respective module description and corresponding schedule (“Buddy-Pass”). With questions on recognition, please consult the student advisors and/or module coordinator at your faculty.

Important note: We try to find a matching buddy for all applicants if they meet the above-mentioned prerequisites for participation. However, there is no guarantee that all applicants can be admitted as this depends on the numbers of local and international students respectively. Moreover, the overall number of participants is limited. After the matching, we will inform all applicants a.s.a.p.
